When one side is required to be coated, generally flow coating or spray
coating is the preferred method. for large sheets, panels or complex
shapes, flow coating is usually recommended.
For small or round parts, spin coating is a good process.
Dip coating is used when the entire part is to be coated.
When two different coatings are required, a hard coat on one side and an
anti fog on the opposite, or hard coat and reduced gloss coating, flow
coating and spray coating are the methods used.
